Your help is needed.  Sarah sent the Prep Rules that we created at the Board meeting, but with a couple of changes that she thought were logical and needed.  She asked us to comment on the rules.  There were only two that gave responses.  I took a copy of the rules to the Regional Congress in Jacksonville, FL and otheres were impressed.  I've attached a copy of the minutes that I took at Prep Opt sub-committee meting.  But remember that they are not totally official yet.  I'm happy to report that the Region has come together well. But the question is, do we want to adopt the rules that we created at the end of May?  I think they'll work...but I need all of ya'll to give your ok to the way they're written now.

In addition, please be sure to take the survey for the State Congress that we'll be hosting on Aug. 8th.  I've talked with Ludmilla, and I know that she'll be in Russia at the time.  Sorry that she won't be with us, but wow, what a neat opportunity for her to go home for a while.  (By the way, Ludmilla did a great job at Region 8 Congress with her first lecture and for the respected words she presented as a testimonial for NC's Prep program at the Prep session.) I've asked Marian Dykes if she'd be available for our State Congress.  She said she'd be happy to.  I think she'll be our strong resource for rule change information, especially for coaches.

So please let me know if you accept the rules as presented in the attachment.  If you could do this by Monday, then we'll get it on the site for rest of the coaches in the state.
