The NC USA Gymnastics was asked to vote on a clarification over the Jan. 23-24 weekend.  Because the rules for NC Prep Optionals were crafted in June 09 and the changes in optional rules from the national office were changed later in the summer, the Board wishes to clarify the evaluation of the clear hip on bars in Prep 1 level.  All clear hips may received a B credit as long as they are clear, irregardless of angle.  Deductions for amplitude and body positions should still be taken. 

These deductions were applied at both meets (Kidsport and Raleigh School) on the Jan 23-24 weekend and will be applied for the rest of the season.
